Rackham itself doesn't support or run tournaments or player rankings like Games Workshop does with its Grand Tournaments and Rogue Trader tournaments. It leaves these functions to the Confederations.

The original organization was the Confederation du Dragon Rouge in Paris. This group established the first set of tournament rules and player rankings. Based on what this group did, new groups are springing up all over.

All of the confederations are members of the Guild du Dragon Rouge (GDR), an umbrella organization that coordinates the various member confederations.

As more Confederations spring up, the Confederation du Dragon Rouge will coordinate tournaments and rankings such that there will be international standings and world tournaments. World Cup, lookout!

NACORD is the North American Conf'Federation of the Red Dragon and is the North American affiliate of the Guilde du Dragon Rouge.

NACORD sponsors tournaments and events and even provides a continental ranking system based on participation in NACORD sanctioned tournaments. As you play in sanctioned events, you rank is recorded and maintained. All this culminates at GenCon Indy, where the National NACORD Championship Tournament is held. The finals are open to everyone - it is not an invitation only tournament.
